Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Fessler Jr. of Lancaster, PA announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Christine Fessler to Ross Hardy Peeples, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orion Hardy Peeples Jr. of Cordele.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sally Coady Fessler and the late Charles B. Fessler Sr. and the late Jere M. Snavely and the late Pauline Hoffsmith Snavely, all of Lancaster, PA.
A 2003 graduate of Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice and sociology from McDaniel College in Westminister, MD in 2007 and a Masters in School Counseling from Westchester University in Westchester, PA in 2009.
She is employed by the Pequea Valley School District as a school counselor at Paradise Elementary School in Lancaster.
Mr. Peeples is the grandson of Mary Ruth Peeples and the late Orion Hardy Peeples Sr. of Albany and Alice Frances Mann of Cordele and the late Henry Lewis Mann of Griffin.
A 1998 graduate of Crisp County High School, he attended Middle Georgia College in Cochran for two years, then in 2000, he signed to play professional baseball with the New York Mets. Presently, he is playing with the Lancaster Barnstormers in Lancaster, PA.
The couple will be married in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Saturday, June 16 at Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, PA. A reception will follow at the Lime Spring Farm. After the wedding, the Peeples will reside in Lancaster.
