Mr. and Mrs. Seth Monte Horne Sr. of Cordele announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Kellam Horne to John Malcolm McMichael, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Mark McMichael of Newnan.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Loron Earl Williams Jr. and the late Mr. Williams and Mrs. Oliver Wendell Horne Jr. and the late Judge Horne, all of Cordele.
She graduated from Crisp Academy in 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 2012.
Mr. McMichael is the grandson of Mrs. Edwin Malcolm Harvey and the late Mr. Harvey and Mr. and Mrs. John Roscoe McMichael, all of Newnan.
He graduated from Newnan High School in 2002, then earned a BBA in economics from the University of Georgia in 2008 and a Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law in 2012.
The couple will be married in an August 4 ceremony in Cordele.
