MOULTRIE — Ricky and Debra Turner of Moultrie, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Marie, to Robert Bradley Grantham. He is the son of Robert and Amy Grantham of Doerun.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Corene Williams of Ellenton and the late John Henry Williams and the late Maynard and Myrtle Turner.
A 2005 graduate of Colquitt County High School, she received a Bachelor of Science of Education in early childhood, in 2009, from Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Ga. She received her Master of Arts of Teaching, in 2011, from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz. She is a third grade teacher at Cox Elementary School in Moultrie.
The future groom is the grandson of Bobby Crosby of Sale City and the late Joyce B. Crosby, the late William Grantham, the late Annette Grantham and the late Dovie Grantham. He is the great-grandson of Eileen Bush of Winter Haven, Fla., and the late Bernard Bush and the late Bill Crosby and Mamie Crosby.
A 2002 graduate of Colquitt County High School, he received a Bachelor of Science in psychology, in 2007, from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. He is employed with Senior Life Insurance in Thomasville, Ga.
The wedding will be held June 23, 2012, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with a reception to follow at Sundown Farms Plantation in Moultrie.
