			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SYCAMORE — Royce and Ann Cromer of Sycamore celebrated 50 years of marriage May 5, 2013. They were honored by their children and grandchildren with a reception at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Chula. They renewed their wedding vows with the Rev. Larry Layfield officiating as family and friends looked on. Royce and Ann have four children, Sidney Cromer, Chris Cromer, Missy Blackmon and Teresa Walker. They have 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.<br />
They would like to thank everyone who came and helped them celebrate this special occasion.</p>

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bill and the late Jean Ray of Enigma and the late Mack and Catherine Tucker of the West Berrien Community. She is a 2005 honor graduate of Tift County High School. She received a bachelor of science in Early Childhood Education in 2009 from Valdosta State University. She is currently employed with the Tift County Board of Education as a fifth grade teacher at Matt Wilson Elementary.<br />
The groom-elect is the grandson of John and Laverne Cook of Irwinville, Gayle Swan and the late Robert Lynn Swan Jr. of Wrens, Marguerite Keeter and the late Grady Keeter of Tifton, the late James Meads of Tifton, Richard and Cheryl Swan of Evans and Ferrell and Carolyn Justice of Franklin, N.C. He is a 2005 graduate of Tift County High School. He received a bachelor of business administration degree in Marketing in 2010 from Valdosta State University. He is self-employed with the Swan Agency in Brunswick.<br />
The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. June 8 in the ABAC Chapel of All Faiths, with a reception to follow at the Peach Barn at Timber Mill Acres. Invitations are being mailed.</p>

The groom-elect is the son of Paul Sumner and Amy Heidt of Chula. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kathleen Wright, Garfield Russ, the late Russell Wright, the late Richard Beidler, the late Beverly Russ and the late Gerald McMann. She is a 2005 graduate of Tift County High School and a 2009 honor graduate of  Brenau University in Gainesville with a bachelor of science in Health Science. While attending Brenau University, Samantha  was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Student Government Association and the varsity crew and rowing squad. She is employed as a customer care specialist at Locumtenens.com in Alpharetta.<br />
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Paul and Daisy Heidt and the late Herbert and Louise Sumner. He is a 2005 honor graduate of Tift County High School. He received a BSE in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 from Mercer University in Macon. While attending Mercer, Elliot  was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and ran on the Mercer Bears cross country team. He is an engineering recruiter with Ranstad Engineering in Norcross.<br />
The wedding will be held June 15, 2013 at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville.<br />

Shelley is the granddaughter of Clifton and Lennie Baxter of Warner Robins and Sara Matkowsky of Americus and the late Jack Matkowsky. She graduated from Tift County High School and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with an associate’s degree in Nursing. Shelley is employed with Houston County Medical Center in Warner Robins as Assistant Nurse Manager of IV Therapy.<br />
Luke is the grandson of the late Earnest Joe and Edith Marie Riddle of Tifton and the late James Homer and Melba Hugh Gordon of Tifton.  He graduated from Tift County High School and Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts of Political Science. Luke is the owner and exclusive agent of Luke R. Gordon Agency (The Horace Mann Companies) in Warner Robins.<br />
The wedding will be held May 11 at Horse Creek Winery in Nashville. After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Macon with their beautiful dog, Stella.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TIFTON — Anna Pardee Curington of Atlanta and Ronald Peacock Carroll of Childersburg, Ala. were united in marriage October 13, 2012, in Tifton at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Julie Ewing Hunt. Pastor Alan Miller officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.<br />
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stanley Curington of Ashburn. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A Ewing Jr. of Ashburn and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Curington of Adel.<br />
The groom is the son of Ms. Priscilla Yeakle Carroll, Birmingham, Ala. and Mr. Sam Jones Carroll III of Ozark, Ala. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Neal Yeakle, Pensacola, Fla. and Mr. Sam Jones Carroll Jr. and the late Mary Elizabeth Trotman Carroll, Ozark Ala.<br />
Escorted by her father, the bride was stunning in an ivory silk faced satin trumpet bridal gown designed by Lazaro. It featured a bateau floral jewel encrusted bodice over a sheer lace sweetheart neckline and a satin trumpet skirt with a chapel train. The gown was accented at the waist with an ivory satin sash with Swarovski crystal embellishment and was complimented by a fingertip illusion veil. The bride carried a hand tied bouquet of miniature Monet calla lilies.<br />
Matron of honor was Allison Simpson Curington of Albany, sister in law of the bride.  She wore an elegant graphite satin floor length dress accented at the waist with a matching tie belt. Mr. Sam Jones Carroll III father of the groom, was best man. Ushers were James Stanley Curington Jr. brother of the bride, Sam Jones Carroll IV and David Neal  Carroll, brothers of the groom, and Walter Lee Sims, brother in law of the groom.<br />
Guests were seated in the living room and foyer of Mrs. Hunt’s home. The ceremony was held in front of the fireplace where an arrangement of white lilies and miniature Monet calla lilies was placed on the mantle in memory of Mr. John Hunt, uncle of the bride. Wedding music was provided by Jon Durkovic, pianist. Ann Marie Baxter, vocalist, sang “How Beautiful” and “When I Say I Do.”                   .<br />
Following the ceremony, guests exited to the pool side area for hors d&#8217;oeuvres and a buffet dinner. Entertainment for the evening was provided by  Vann Thornton and the band “Three.”<br />
The couple resides in Birmingham, Alabama.</p>
