Mr. and Mrs. Louis Joseph Cassotta of Homerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Catherine Cassotta, to Michael Jarred Hart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jackson Hart, Sr. of Homerville.

The wedding is planned for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Alcyone Plantation in Lake Park.

The future bride’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Harmon Hinson of Homerville, and her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cassotta of Saine Augustine, Fla.

Mary Catherine is a 2003 graduate of Clinch County High School. She attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She graduated in 2006 with a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and obtained her certification in Middle School Education. She is employed by the Ware County Board of Education at Ware County Middle School as a sixth grade science and social studies teacher.

The future groom’s maternal grandparents are Mrs. Gladys Deloach and the late Daniel James Deloach of Statenville, and his paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lewis “Pete” Hart of Homerville.

Jarred is a 1994 graduate of Clinch County High School. He attended Valdosta State University in Valdosta, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He is employed by the Clinch County Board of Education at Clinch County High School as biology teacher, high school boys varsity basketball coach, middle school girls’ softball coach, and middle school boys’ baseball coach.
