Mr. and Mrs. Harry Flythe of Hahira announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ashley Flythe, to Cedric “Ric” LaRue Williams, son of Mr. James Williams of Westville, Fla., and Ms. Gloria Williams of Graceville, Fla.
The wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Highgrove Farms in Valdosta.
The future bride is a 2005 graduate of Lowndes High School and a 2009 graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is pursuing a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from VSU.
Her maternal grandparents are Ms. Charlene Gibbs and the late Mr. John Gibbs of Hahira, and her paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. James Flythe of Valdosta.
The future groom is a 2004 graduate of Holmes County High School and attended Chipola College in Marianna, Fla. He is employed by Fedex Freight.
His maternal grandparents are Ms. Imogene Ivey and the late Buddy B. Ivey of Graceville, Fla., and his paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Williams of Geneva, Ala.
