Mrs. Deborah Tubbs and Mr. Edgar Tubbs of Valdosta announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Alma Tubbs, to Bradley Michael Webb, son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Donnell Webb of Thomasville.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 21, 2010, at Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Valdosta.
The future bride’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William P. Ryan of Palm Coast, Fla., and her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wasson of Bainbridge and the late Mr. Edgar S. Tubbs, Jr. of Dania, Fla.
She graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Courtney is employed as an Operations Manager with eLEAD CRM/Fresh Beginnings.
The future groom’s maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Coleman Merryman of Dixon Springs, Tenn., and his paternal grandparents are the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert Webb of Carthage, Tenn.
He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Brad is employed as a Sales Manager with Flowers Baking Company in Savannah, where the couple will reside following the wedding.
